Programs

The Foundation supports empowerment and transformational strategies including leading life courses and workshops, investing in scholarship opportunities, providing guidance through our mentoring programs, supporting communities where we live and work through our sponsorship and quality education while promoting extracurricular activities, positive role models, and the inclusion of youth voices in community improvement initiatives. 

Through this strategic and transformational mentoring program, we play an important role in the development and advancement of individuals. The Mentor’s Circle is a program that inspires and prepares individuals to succeed with the development of key life skills that focuses on character, personal development, career goals and strategic planning. Our mentoring program is strategically developed as we assess every participant's life experiences, career interests, personalities, and goals to determine the best fit. 

Corey’s Resiliency is an initiative by The Kazembe Foundation that  educate, support and provide advocacy for families of individuals who suffer with mental health challenges and have had contact with the criminal justice system or are at risk.

Oftentimes our youths end up in the justice system based on mental health issues that are unaddressed or under-addressed, mental health resources are often sparse and difficult to obtain. Corey’s Resiliency aims to partner with mental health systems and the criminal justice system to create a better alliance. We also raise awareness and lobby for changes to the law that are necessary to help families overcome the hurdles the criminal justice presents for individuals suffering from mental health illness. 

The Kazembe Foundation is the charitable arm of the Global Institute for Freedom, Transformation and Enlightenment (GIFTE). GIFTE is a world leader in personal transformation education. Through our ongoing collaboration with GIFTE, we offer scholarships to GIFTE’s seminars and programs intended to elevate and evolve individuals to the highest version of themselves. Participants in GIFTE’s  programs experience a quantum leap in their effectiveness, performance and happiness. They emerge as leaders of their own lives, and operate at a very high level of power, passion, purpose, peace and prosperity.  

In collaboration with local sports clubs, we offer sports development programs to enrich the lives of children in our communities. Our sports programs prepare our youths for organized sports in a fun, interactive environment. 

The Kazembe Foundation is committed to investing and responding to the needs of people everywhere. This includes community outreach and solving the educational needs of our communities through the establishment of our scholarship program. Our scholarship program is designed to recognize all-round excellence. They are awarded on the basis of outstanding academic and personal achievement to candidates who demonstrate creative and innovative thought and a passion for the pursuit of learning and achieving.
